THE organisers of this year’s Aske Horse Trials, set to take place on July 10 and 11 have sadly had to cancel the event due to lack of entries. Organised by BEDE Events, Aske failed to attract enough entries but the team has thanked those riders that did enter and support what in most years has proved a popular fixture. Said Stuart Buntine of BEDE Events: “It is a great shame that we have had to cancel Aske and I would like to thank the hosts Lord and Lady Ronaldshay for their support and understanding. “As ever we look forward and will be planning for a bigger and better horse trials in 2022 when more competitors will be back up and running at full speed.”
